Ada is a specialist college based in the UK, focused on nurturing the next generation of digital pioneers. With a mission to bridge the digital skills gap through innovative education and industry partnerships, they needed a modern, scalable web presence to support their growth and outreach.

I was brought in to provide end-to-end full stack development for the complete redevelopment of their website, application systems, and hosting infrastructure.

Project Scope:

• Website Redesign & Development
  Rebuilt the public-facing website using Craft CMS, delivering a flexible and easily editable platform for content managers and marketing teams.

• Application System
  Engineered a robust application flow to handle student applications for courses and apprenticeships, with user-friendly forms and back-end integrations.

• Blog & Site Search
  Added a clean, categorized blog section to share news and insights, and implemented a site-wide search function to help users navigate content quickly.

Infrastructure & DevOps:

• Cloud Deployment: Used Amazon Web Services with Elastic Beanstalk to deploy the application in a scalable, managed environment.
• Containerization: Implemented Docker for consistent development, staging, and production environments.
• CI/CD: Configured automated deployment pipelines via GitLab, ensuring safe and efficient updates.
